STEERING COMMITTEE RESOURCES AND CALENDAR

In January 2018, the Multnomah County Board of Commissioners voted to sign a lease on a property located at 6144 SE Foster Road to be used as a shelter funded by the Joint Office of Homeless Services and run by Transition Projects.

To ensure that the community - including neighborhood associations, local businesses, and other critical partners - have a seat at the table during the planning of this shelter, County Commissioner Jessica Vega Pederson is leading a steering committee that will provide input and advice on this process. This committee will have several major duties, including:

● Reviewing and making recommendations on: the populations served, design of the shelter, and the rules and guidelines for those served by the shelter;

● Determining the need for and assisting in the crafting of a Good Neighbor Agreement

● Providing input on the allocation and investment of funds set aside to address community concern
